“In a landmark project representing the largest infrastructure investment in regional Western Australia’s history, the $136m Karratha Health Campus has been a game-changer in providing exceptional healthcare access to local communities and revolutionising regional health services which included a 24/7 emergency department and a mental health facility.
As subcontractors specialising in walls and ceilings, our firm played a pivotal role in the construction of the Karratha Health Campus, which has replaced the Nickol Bay Hospital. Our work was integral to several key areas of the campus, including:
- Doubling the number of emergency department bays, where our wall and ceiling solutions contribute to both functionality and patient comfort.
- Erecting a new surgical centre, where our work in walls and ceilings helped create a state-of-the-art facility.
- Contributing to the new maternity wing and delivery suites, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for new mothers and their babies.
- Expanding outpatient facilities, where our detail-oriented approach to walls and ceilings enhanced the overall patient experience.
Our involvement in the project began in 2023 and reached completion in mid-2018. The precision and quality of our work in walls and ceilings were key to delivering this significant healthcare infrastructure on time and to the highest standards, contributing to the transformation of health services in the region.
